Some customers prefer the clearance in stages: clear access routes, separate items to keep, remove obvious waste, then clear bulky items and remaining contents. This can feel more manageable than doing everything at once.
Hoarder Clearance Costs
Hoarder clearances vary widely. A cluttered room may be £180–£400 + VAT, a cluttered flat £500–£1,500 + VAT, and a full hoarded house £1,000–£4,000+ VAT depending on volume and labour.

Why Some Items Cost More To Remove
Some items require specialist disposal routes. POPs means Persistent Organic Pollutants. These are chemicals found in some upholstered furniture and soft furnishings that must be handled separately from normal mixed waste. Fridges, freezers, tyres, paint and gas bottles also need separate treatment.
